Of course, creating your own ethnic drumming program is always an option, and we don’t claim to be offering you something that you couldn’t research yourself – what we are offering you is valuable insight and experience which will help you eliminate common mistakes and provide an activity that has a working balance of safety, fun and learning.
What you could do:
- Hire someone to create a drumming activity from scratch. This will take approximately 30hrs+ of work at roughly $10 per hour, and you will only be able to research around 40% of what we can provide you with. You will need to:.

- Search for drums online, in local stores, trade magazines, camp conferences, neighbor camps, etc.
- Create your own lesson plans.
- Trial and error the equipment and activity to find out safety points and logistical considerations.
